Avery Fisher Hall opens on to the north side of Lincoln Center’s world famous Josie Robertson Plaza. One of the most elegant, iconic concert halls in the world, it was the first building to be completed at Lincoln Center. Since September 23rd, 1962 the 2700 seat Avery Fisher Hall has been home of the New York Philharmonic.
